PROJECT DESCRIPTION
INITIAL BRIEF
The client wanted a loft conversion from an existing storage room into a luxurious guest room. The client requested new Velux roof light and windows cutting out the existing pebble dash.
Existing property
This 1950’s detached house was well-built and because of that had a high ceiling and a narrow staircase.
Construction
The existing structural purlin walls needed a lot of upgrading and squaring off to make this room work. We upgraded all the insulation values to meet modern standards and offered good ideas on improving the balustrade.
The Finish
Once plastered the client added their finishing touches with nice oak skirting and doors, and a great choice of paint colour in our opinion.
